- A colleague recently bought a Motorola modem after two years of failing
- to get his Boca modem to work. He's been through five of them (and it
- hasn't been easy -- they usually lose his returns for a couple of weeks
- before finally shipping out a replacement). I've heard too many other
- horror stories about them to ever be inclined to buy their products
- (they used to make good memory boards in the original ibm pc/xt era).
